VectorMagic is amazing. Basically, it’s a web app created by Stanford that takes raster images and vectorizes them, magically. The site/app also shows VectorMagic comparisons with Live Trace technology by Adobe and PowerTRACE from Corel. Of course it annihilates both of them. Simply upload an image, pick a few options and vectorize it. Then download an .eps file.

This makes vectorizing logos and pictures easy for people who aren’t Illustrator ninjas. Use it while you can. I imagine it’s just a matter of time before Stanford sells VectorMagic technology to either Corel or Adobe, making it only available with product purchase.
